After a challenging season opening in Thailand, the Moto3 Honda Team Asia faced the second round of the 2025 World Championship at the Termas de Río Hondo Circuit in Argentina.
The first practice day was difficult for both riders, struggling with mixed track conditions, which did not allow them to find their rhythm. Furusato finished the day in 22nd place, while Buasri, at his first time on this circuit, took a cautious approach and ended 23rd.
The qualifying day started in a challenging way for both riders, finishing outside the top 20 in the final practice session.
In the afternoon, Furusato showed progress in Q1, securing 3rd place and earning a spot in Q2. Taiyo ultimately got the 14th position on the grid.
Buasri struggled throughout the session and lined up on the last row of the grid.
The race was thrilling, from start to finish, an intense 18-lap race, with around ten riders battling for victory.
Furusato delivered an outstanding performance, charging through the field to position himself in the leading group. He even briefly led the race in the final stages before engaging in a fierce battle for podium contention. Ultimately, Taiyo crossed the line in 4th place but due to a post-race penalty, he classified 5th, securing his first points of the season.
Meanwhile, Buasri faced a more challenging race. He was riding well but after receiving a long lap penalty for cutting Turn 10, his rhythm was disrupted, and he finished 21st.
Now, a short break before heading to the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, USA, for the third round of the season.
MOTO3: TAIYO FURUSATO #72
Grid 14-Race 5
Finishing in 5th place this weekend wasn’t too bad overall. However, I made a costly mistake in the first round in Thailand, which left me frustrated. Here in Argentina, I struggled slightly in the final laps, especially with braking and corner exits, as I had opted for a softer tire setup that affected my control.
Despite not feeling completely comfortable throughout the weekend, we still managed to secure a strong result. It was a solid recovery, and I’m pleased with how we handled the race.
Looking ahead, the next round at Circuit of The Americas is one of my favorite tracks, so I’m optimistic. We’ll keep working in the same way, and hopefully, we can achieve an even better result there.
MOTO3: TATCHAKORN BUASRI #5
Grid 25- Race 21
The race in Argentina is now complete. I started with a good feeling and felt confident in the opening laps. My initial plan was to settle into my rhythm and gradually gain positions, but unfortunately, I made a mistake in the chicane and had to take a long lap penalty. That really impacted my race, making it difficult to recover.
I recognize my mistake, and I’ll use it as a learning experience. My focus is now on refining my approach, improving my technique, and coming back stronger in the next race. I’m committed to working harder and giving my best effort in America.

It was an intense 18-lap race in Argentina, with around ten riders battling for victory. Taiyo Furusato was right in the mix, fighting for a podium and even leading at one point. With two laps to go, he was in second place, but in such a competitive category, it’s never easy. He briefly dropped to P7 but fought back to cross the line in 4th. Unfortunately, due to a post-race penalty, he was classified 5th. Given the challenges of the weekend, we can still consider this a strong performance.
Tatchakorn Buasri was also riding well until he received a long lap penalty for cutting Turn 10. Before that, he had a promising pace and was in contention to score points. It’s unfortunate, but both riders demonstrated strong potential. We are moving in a positive direction, and we aim to build on this momentum in the next race in America.
