After the Aragon GP, the Honda Team Asia moved directly to Misano for the 13th round of the Moto3 World Championship.

The first day of the San Marino Grand Prix started under favorable weather and track conditions. Taiyo Furusato, after his remarkable comeback at Aragon and the final 6th position in the race, demonstrated promising pace from the first sessions.

Tatchakorn Buasri’s first day was more difficult due to a crash in the morning which affected his confidence.

On the qualifying day, Taiyo Furusato displayed a good performance, being one of the fastest riders in Q1 and securing the 9th place on the grid during Q2.

Thai rookie Tatchakorn Buasri faced a challenging day getting the 26th position on the grid. In the race, Taiyo Furusato had an incredible start, gaining multiple positions after a few corners. The Japanese rider maintained a strong pace throughout the race, even leading at several stages and challenging for the podium. He finished 4th.

Tatchakorn Buasri, starting from 26th, advanced 10 positions early in the race. The Thai rookie was fighting for points but he lost some positions at the end of the race and finished 21st. Both riders showed great potential and this is a good sign for the next race, still in Misano in two weeks!

MOTO3: TAIYO FURUSATO #72
Grid 9-Race 4

I have mixed feelings about today’s race. On one hand, I’m pleased with my performance, but I’m disappointed with the final result. I felt strong throughout the race and managed my tires well to maintain grip toward the end. However, I didn’t execute the final laps as effectively as I could have.
I did my best today, and though I’m somewhat satisfied with my overall performance, I know I could have achieved more. I’ll learn from this experience and come back stronger for the next race here at Misano, where I’ll give everything to fight for victory.

MOTO3: TATCHAKORN BUASRI #5
Grid 26- Race 21

Although I had a good start, I struggled to keep pace with the group and didn’t feel confident throughout the race, which impacted my performance. Fortunately, the next race will also take place here at Misano, giving me the opportunity to improve my riding and regain the confidence I had in previous races.
I need to focus on improving my speed in the first two sectors of the circuit. I’ll review video footage and data to address these weaknesses, and I’m committed to working harder for the next race. I apologize for today’s result, but I won’t give up. I’ll fight for a better performance in two weeks.

HIROSHI AOYAMA – Team Manager

We just concluded a thrilling Moto3 race here in Misano. The San Marino Grand Prix delivered a thrilling spectacle over 20 laps. Taiyo Furusato had an incredible start, gaining multiple positions right from the beginning. Similarly, Tatchakorn Buasri, starting from 26th, advanced 10 positions early in the race. Both riders showed remarkable determination at the start.
Buasri was competing within the third group, fighting for points. He reached 20th place during the first lap, but lost positions later, ultimately finishing 21st. Furusato maintained a strong pace throughout the race, even leading at several stages and challenging for the podium. Unfortunately, he finished 4th by a very narrow margin. While a fourth-place finish is commendable, we believe we had the potential for more, perhaps even victory.
I’d like to thank our riders, staff, and sponsors for their unwavering support. We’ll regroup and come back stronger for the next race, which will be held here at Misano in two weeks.
